I have been tinting bottle brush trees for years, and never tire of the transformations.  

The ornaments I use to decorate the trees are from my stash of vintagey goodness, tiny shiny brites or beads cut from glass garlands.  All of the papers I use are old too, mostly from Christmas cards of the past and holiday sheet music.

My bottles are also vintage, collected all year from flea markets to save up to make tree stands at Christmas.
